I installed robocode and tried to open it but it crashed. All the other applications are working fine on my laptop. I tried to fix it, but didnt succeed yet.
could you please help to reslove this?
Okay, we can try and fix this. Firstly, can you give me some details about yout laptop? I assume it is Windows, which version? Also do you know what processor and how much memory your laptop has?
Secondly what version of Java do you have? Find this out by pressing the windows key and r to open the run menu and type cmd and click OK. in the command prompt window type (without the “) “java -version” and let us know what it says.
Finally does the application crash with any message? Can you tell us what it is? Also try navigating to the robocode folder using the command prompt. On my machine I do this by typing (again without the “) “cd c:\robocode” and hittinge enter. Then type (no ” again) “robocode.bat”, press enter and let us know what text appears in the command prompt.
Dad helped me fix it. Thank you.
